Our Marriage and Family Coaches believe in lasting relationships! All are volunteering their time to Marriage & Family Works, and have strong, successful marriages today. Many have survived their own marital struggles, only to have a stronger, happier marriage on the other side. They bring these real life skills to you. All have obtained the professional training to coach you through conflict resolution, team building and better communication.
Some couples specialize in communication skills, while others help couples navigate through serious issues, such as infidelity. We even have coaches to lead you in family coaching sessions, when there is a conflict between parents and children.

Don & Angie Power
The Powers experienced their own serious marriage breakdown over 14 years ago, which included infidelity. Even though it appeared a divorce was the logical next step, Don and Angie both decided that divorce was not an option for them. However this decision to 'go against the grain' resulted in the complete healing of their marriage and family! Today, Don and Angie are experiencing a truly intimate marriage, and are positively impacting thousands of other marriages by sharing what they’ve learned along the way. Their hearts are to see marriages and families experience the restoration that is available to everyone who will decide divorce is not an option, and instead take the beautiful journey of marital restoration. They have 3 children: Shane, Dustin, and Coltin. |

They enjoy coaching both married and unmarried couples. Gail is a licensed mental health counselor, with many years of experience assisting a variety of individuals of varying backgrounds. Jim & Pat Keller
Jim and Pat moved to Florida from Michigan where they were (and still are) very active in an international ministry known as Open Hearts Ministry, which focuses on teaching and small groups for people who have experienced wounds in their hearts and abuse. In this capacity, they lead the Journey Groups. When they arrived here in Bradenton, they felt a desire to serve in a ministry area locally and were introduced to Marriage and Family Works in 2009. Their passion is to save marriages because they each know the pain of divorce. They have met with multiple couples for premarital sessions, crisis coaching, and marriage enrichment coaching. They find that their experience with both ministries compliments the other. |
